Swifts prefer to nest in groups so we recommend you be more Swift when thinking about supporting these amazing birds. You can do this by asking your neighbours and local community to join in. Ask your neighbours if they would put up a box (or more than one), remind them that Swifts don't poop down the walls, and that you shouldn't clean out their boxes. Swifts do their own housekeeping. We can support you with all aspects of your project, from diy box plans, call playing and installation. And don't forget to think about schools and other community buildings that could host some boxes up high on a wall.
Supporting Swifts are really simple community projects that can involve residents, students, churches, local Men's/Community Sheds, and local roofers or builders. Please do get in touch if you would like to start your own.
